An unimposing young man, laden with a small satchel, jogs awkwardly through the night. Arriving at a bare spot in the grass, he falls to his knees, casting off his load and drawing two vials from the bag's folds. He pours out their contents across the dark earth- a measure of salt, a measure of water, falling across one another in strange patterns. Dropping the empty containers, he slowly bows his head.
